How often should I test my home for radon?

Your home is your safe haven. It is very important to know the radon level in your home. Studies have shown that 15,000-22,000 deaths are related to radon in the US every year. 12-13% of lung cancer deaths in the US are linked to radon exposure. We recommend you test for the level in your home and depending on that level we can help gauge how often to retest. A lot depends on the level that comes back and whether or not mitigation is recommenced. If the level is acceptable according to the AARST standards, you can potentially wait up to 5 years to retest.
