Why is radon unsafe?

At Gas Passers, we know that radon is silent but deadly. Radon gas and radon decay particles are inhaled. The radon decay particles remain stuck to the lung tissue and the PO-218 and 214 release alpha particles which strike the lung cells, causing physical and potentially chemical damage to the person’s DNA.
